GRANT SPECIFICATIONS

1. A grant of USD 1, 500 will be provided to apply towards travel and accommodation costs to attend the congress.  
2. Funds will be reimbursed on arrival at the congress on presentation of supporting documentation.

SELECTION COMMITTEE

An appointed committee will review the applications and select 3 people to receive the grant. The committee decision is final.

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

The following pre-requisites should be met by applicants:

1. Applicants should not be more than 40 years old at the time of application
2. Should be in a training or junior faculty position.
3. Fluency in the English language

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROPOSAL

1. Completed application form.
2. Recommendation letter from head of department

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS, DATES, AND DEADLINES

1. All applications should be submitted electronically by Friday, 29th June 2012.
2. Please submit applications and accompanying documents to uaecancercongress@mci-group.com with the subject line: Travel Grant Application Submission. All materials should be combined into one electronic file.
3. No late or incomplete applications will be considered.
4. You will receive a confirmation by email from the congress committee that your proposal has been received.
5. Winners will be notified by email on Friday, 27th July 2012.
